Contract"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Senior Oracle DBA\/Golden Gate (Bi-Directional Set Up)<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Location: St. Louis, MO or Charlotte, NC<\/p>\n<p>Work Style: On-site from Day 1<\/p>\n<p>Duration: Long Term Contract<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Must Haves:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We require candidates who are local to Charlotte, NC or St Louis, MO.<\/li>\n<li>Candidate should have 10+ years of strong Oracle DBA experience with Golden Gate (Bi-Directional) set up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform installations and configurations of grid infrastructure, databases, clients etc.<\/li>\n<li>Design and maintain access and security administration.<\/li>\n<li>Design, implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies on Database Management Systems.<\/li>\n<li>Support multiple services and multiple databases of medium complexity with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity and accessibility of data.<\/li>\n<li>Design, install, configure and maintain High Availability (RAC, RAC One Node, Data Guard etc.) Database solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Expertise in setup using OEM as a monitoring and diagnostics tool and identifies\/resolves the performance issues.<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoots alerts (alert log, Jobs, Disk Group, Tablespace etc.) and performance issues.<\/li>\n<li>Performs capacity planning of Oracle server environment and provides recommendations to management to sustain business growth.<\/li>\n<li>Design, implement, maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) methodologies and creates documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Gather business requirements and design, implement multiple projects along with the production support.<\/li>\n<li>Creates standard operational procedures and templates.<\/li>\n<li>Act as mentor for Database Administrators and Associate Database Administrators.<\/li>\n<li>Perform research and provide plans to remediate complex business problems.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the development teams to improve database design and procedures on PL\/SQL best practices etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements &amp; Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>10 + Years of experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experienced DBA with extensive knowledge with PL\/SQL programming and database architecture.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to read, analyze, and enhance PL\/SQL scripts delivered to their team by the development team.<\/li>\n<li>Able to utilize all Oracle DB tools and functionality to create\/modify PL\/SQL scripts for performance on large DBs and datasets.<\/li>\n<li>Thrives on problem solving and is able to apply those skills to think outside the box to engineer new solutions as well as improve existing solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Good Experience with Oracle RMAN and Golden Gate (Bi-directional set up) is mandatory.<\/li>\n<li>A good communicator to interface with APO production DB support teams.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to write detailed documentation along with MOPs for all projects assigned to them.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of database architecture and its implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of best practices in maintaining medium to large scale Oracle database systems.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of PL\/SQL programming language.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of Change Management procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of Instance, database and query tuning to improve the performance of the database\/application.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of SAN technologies related to SQL server disk layouts.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of Windows\/Linux\/Solaris operating systems and shell scripting.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to show judgement and initiative and to accomplish job duties.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to effectively consult with department managers and leaders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Salt is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Senior Oracle DBA\/Golden Gate (Bi-Directional Set Up) Location: St. Louis, MO or Charlotte, NC Work Style: On-site from Day 1 Duration: Long Term Contract Must Haves: We require candidates who are local to Charlotte, NC or St Louis, MO.
