They are looking for a Senior\/Principal Data Engineer for a long-term 2 year contract and to be based in Nashville, TN.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you&#8217;ll do:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be responsible for building on the existing data hub<\/li>\n<li>Data cataloguing<\/li>\n<li>Building a semantic layer<\/li>\n<li>Working to increase data managed systems<\/li>\n<li>Define and implement a technical roadmap sought at driving the long-term scale of BI and Data Warehousing platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Design, architect, and develop code in a testable, scalable, and performant manner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Basic Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to code in Python<\/li>\n<li>Experience with cloud-based platform Azure.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience working with streaming data<\/li>\n<li>Experience with data warehousing, ETL\/ELT processes, and data integration platforms (i.e., Airflow, MuleSoft,).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is an exciting opportunity to learn, grow and expand within a new team, so jump on board today!<\/p>\n<p>Salt is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Senior\/Principal Data Engineer &#8211; Nashville,TN &#8211; Hybrid 3 days onsite &#8211; 2 year Contract Salt has partnered with a well-established company who operates in the energy space and who are on a mission to grow and expand their team.
