{"id":93615,"date":"2018-06-21T14:01:56","date_gmt":"2018-06-21T13:01:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/welovesalt.com\/jobs\/%wpbb_job_industry%\/data-domain-architect-data-solution-architect\/"},"modified":"2018-08-21T12:24:43","modified_gmt":"2018-08-21T11:24:43","slug":"data-domain-architect-data-solution-architect","status":"archive","type":"wpbb_job","link":"https:\/\/welovesalt.com\/jobs\/all-industries\/data-domain-architect-data-solution-architect\/","title":{"rendered":"Data Domain Architect \/ Data Solution Architect"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Data Solution Architect &#8211; Data Domain &#8211; BSS \/ OSS &#8211; Telco &#8211; Permanent<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Data Solution Architect within the Data Domain required to join a global telecom giant where you will work predominantly in the early stages of projects that require data management solutions to ensure they are fit for delivery by creating end to end solutions<\/p>\n<p>Working across key programmes and alongside project teams with partners and suppliers the successful Data Solution Architect will produce Impact assessments, high level designs and assuring detailed solution designs.<\/p>\n<p>As the Data Solution Architect, it is expected that you will have;<\/p>\n<p>Experience;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical competency of solution design in a Telco.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of what it means to be a &#8220;digital telco&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of Telco BSS &amp; OSS architecture and multi-channel customer service.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work within a technical environment performing technical design and\/or system analysis roles across technical domains.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key Skills;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Data Architecture &#8211; Data Warehouse, Data Mart, ODS, ETL, reporting, analytics, master data management<\/li>\n<li>Data Modelling &#8211; 3NF, Dimensional, Star Schema<\/li>\n<li>Excellent SQL<\/li>\n<li>Good experience of multiple RDBMS at least including Teradata and Oracle<\/li>\n<li>Previous exposure to database scripting and programming languages at least including BTEQ, SQL*Plus and PL\/SQL<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Ab Initio ETL and extended suite of products Meta-Data Hub, Control Centre, Data Quality Environment, Data Profiler<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Oracle Data Integrator<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Business Intelligence suites at least including Business Objects and MicroStrategy<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of data management applications such as Master Data Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is a key role within a growing team and as the Data Solution Architect you will be expected to engage with a wide range of stakeholders including project teams, IT specialist architects and the business, service operations, technology partners and Group Architecture\/Technology.<\/p>\n<p>Excellent competitive salary and benefits available for the right candidate!
