Financial Accountant

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to grow your career? We’re on the hunt for a Financial Accountant with 0-2 years post-articles experience to join this team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of the finance function up to trial balance
• Prepare and submit SARS returns (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax)
• Manage payroll and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
• Oversee stock management and ensure accurate reporting
• Financial reporting and assisting with month-end processes
• Management tax calculations and submissions
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors
• Develop and improve internal controls and processes

Experience & Requirements:

• Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
• 0-2 years post-article experience
• A solid academic record
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting software
• Strong understanding of SARS regulations, payroll, and management tax
