Software Product Manager

This client has been on the scene for a while with regards to servicing the Tourism and Airline industry, but they have new contracts that they need to deliver on and they need an experience Software Product Manager to help them get there!

Main Responsibilities:

• Defining the product strategy
• Creating and maintaining product roadmaps for multiple products.
• Conducting market research and competitor analysis.
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for products to drive revenue growth.
• Analyse and report on product metrics, with a focus on ROI and other KPIs.
• Collaborating with Development Teams and fellow Product Team members
• Working with the marketing team and regional teams to communicate product changes to customers.
• Plan and manage the release of software products.
• Monitor progress of software product development
• Regular communication with senior management on status, risks and change control
• Lead the Product team, with a focus on mentorship for Product Owners.

EXPERIENCE

• 8+ years of experience of end-to-end product ownership across either or both in consulting and industry
• Experience in launching digital products across industries
• Experience working in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams
• Experience working with Content management systems and Product catalogues
• Experience of working in and leading multi-disciplinary teams (Designers, Engineers, Product Owners, Architects) within a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining calm under pressure
• Experience in launching digital products (Retail Sector advantageous)
• Fluency in a range of tech (inc. web, data, ERP, etc) to direct, inspire and drive technologists within agile teams

This is a remote role, but they would prefer the candidate to be based in JHB.
