We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Global Payroll Manager to join a team in Johannesburg. In this standalone role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the People &amp; Culture and Finance departments, ensuring seamless end-to-end payroll processes for a diverse portfolio of clients.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of experience processing payroll for multiple entities across countries.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with UK payroll.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in accounting, Finance, or related equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Strong Payroll systems experience (Phase 3, Trinet an advantage).<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with the full Microsoft Office suite.<\/li>\n<li>CIPP qualification (UK) is favourable or working towards this qualification is an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to balance multiple demanding deadlines across different time zones.<\/li>\n<li>Organised, efficient, and self-driven with excellent communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Customer service-focused with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide oversight for payroll and payroll tax processing services in the UK, US, and South Africa.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with specific country payroll regulations, accurate government reporting, and timely remittances.<\/li>\n<li>Calculate, collate, and submit monthly payrolls for clients across the UK, US, and South Africa.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure accurate reporting, reconcile differences, and allocate costs appropriately.<\/li>\n<li>Establish internal SLAs, meet payroll deadlines, and perform monthly payroll account reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain relationships with Payroll vendors and serve as the primary contact for auditors.<\/li>\n<li>Recharge salary costs as needed and oversee and approve global Payroll changes.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare P11D&#8217;s and year-end payroll reporting (UK).<\/li>\n<li>Conduct monthly reporting, benefit processing, and ad hoc reporting projects for senior management.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and distribute payslips, calculate statutory pay elements, and ensure government compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Process new starters and leavers, review processes, and challenge the status quo when required.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with GDPR and maintain payroll security and confidentiality.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Review and approve salary payments, third-party payments, and payroll provider invoices.<\/li>\n<li>Drive improvement projects to reduce costs and enhance the quality of service.<\/li>\n<li>Any other ad hoc payroll &amp; benefit-related tasks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additional Information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A hybrid work model is available.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are ready to take on this exciting challenge and contribute to the success of this industry giant, we want to hear from you!
