They pride themselves on their dedication to providing outstanding products\/services and continuously improving their processes to meet the ever-changing needs of their clients.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Role Purpose:<\/p>\n<p>The Financial Manager will have a team of accountants and clerks reporting to them. They will oversee the daily accounting process of the business as well as be responsible for the monthly\/quarterly\/annual financial reporting. As a Financial Manager, you will be expected to provide a high standard of financial and business reports and analysis that will assist the executives in making key decisions for the business.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in accounting or finance required.<\/li>\n<li>SAIPA, CIMA qualified &#8211; Beneficial.<\/li>\n<li>3 &#8211; 5 years&#8217; experience.<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience in financial analysis and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables.<\/li>\n<li>SAGE and Pastel Partner experience.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to develop financial and operational models.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Role Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee the daily processing for the finance team.<\/li>\n<li>Review monthly reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Treasury management.<\/li>\n<li>Month-end process completion (including monthly journal preparations).<\/li>\n<li>Monthly\/quarterly\/annual financial reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and run annual audits and financial statements.<\/li>\n<li>Financial analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Process improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure company compliance with IFRS.<\/li>\n<li>Ad hoc projects as assigned by the Managing Director.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Person Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects.<\/li>\n<li>Have a flair for numbers, work well with people, aggressively anticipate impacts of workload\/issues to team deadlines, and have a very positive work attitude.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to be flexible and work as part of a team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Why Join:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborative and innovative work environment.<\/li>\n<li>Continuous learning and professional development opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements highlighted above.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Salt is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/ZHZOaWVrZXJrLjcwOTg0LjUyMDhAc2FsdC5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Position: Financial Manager Location: Cape Town Salary Range: R420K &#8211; R540K per annum About Our Client: Our client is a dynamic and innovative company committed to excellence in the IT sector.
