Our client is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team and provide exceptional rental advice that sets them apart, converts inquiries, and fosters repeat and referral business.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promptly respond to inquiries from all lead-generating platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Match clients with suitable vehicles for their travel plans and destinations.<\/li>\n<li>Provide detailed information on vehicle equipment, travel restrictions, and route planning.<\/li>\n<li>Follow up on inquiries to maintain a minimum 30% conversion rate.<\/li>\n<li>Accurately process reservations, ensuring information matches quotations and Tourplan data.<\/li>\n<li>Handle special requests and additional product needs, including cross-border vehicle applications.<\/li>\n<li>Create precise travel documentation, including vouchers and confirmation emails.<\/li>\n<li>Assist clients with payment issues and offer alternative payment methods.<\/li>\n<li>Advise clients on supplier operating hours to avoid conflicts with travel schedules.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate cancellation and no-show policies with quotes and confirmations.<\/li>\n<li>Process cancellations and refunds promptly.<\/li>\n<li>Offer ongoing concierge service from booking through to the client&#8217;s return.<\/li>\n<li>Provide expert advice and guidance as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the inquiry management dashboard for accurate reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Prioritise and resolve complaints efficiently.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in weekend and after-hours duties as scheduled.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the emergency phone as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Support with additional tasks as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Job Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Matric certificate<\/li>\n<li>Tertiary qualification in travel\/tourism is a plus<\/li>\n<li>3-5 years of customer service experience, including sales (face-to-face or telesales)<\/li>\n<li>Experience in 4&#215;4 and camper van rentals is advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of African self-drive destinations<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate (MS Office \/ Google Workplace)<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the Tourplan system is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Must have a driver&#8217;s license and own transport<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong time management and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent administrative and organisational skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong sales and customer service drive<\/li>\n<li>Highly adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Perks of the Job:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive salary with monthly commissions<\/li>\n<li>20 days of paid annual leave<\/li>\n<li>Additional annual leave days after 5 years, up to a maximum of 25 days<\/li>\n<li>Paid birthday leave &#8211; because you deserve a day off on your special day!<\/li>\n<li>Paid sabbatical leave without using your annual leave<\/li>\n<li>Flexible working conditions<\/li>\n<li>Opportunities for professional development<\/li>\n<li>Supportive leadership from actively engaged owners<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with a diverse and dedicated team<\/li>\n<li>Discounted travel opportunities within Africa<\/li>\n<li>Convenient location in the northern suburbs of Cape Town, possibly against traffic for your commute<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Salt is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/amJlc3Rlci4xMzk3MS41MjA4QHNhbHQuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you passionate about 4&#215;4 adventures and delivering top-notch customer service?
