You will contribute to the development of innovative, greenfield products that bridge the digital and physical in-store experiences, including in-store kiosk ordering, click-and-collect systems, new till software, order fulfilment apps, and customer loyalty programs. These mission-critical products aim to provide millions of customers with a fast, friendly, and seamless experience every day.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>As a member of the team, you will work in an agile environment and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure our solutions meet user needs. You&#8217;ll have the opportunity to be involved in the entire product life cycle, from concept to delivery, and will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of code quality, security, and performance.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and manage CI\/CD pipelines with integration, functional, and end-to-end testing.<\/li>\n<li>Work with cloud platforms and services, ensuring seamless functionality.<\/li>\n<li>Champion test-driven development (TDD) and employ testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, Moq).<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain secure, high-quality RESTful APIs in .NET.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with a range of stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Essential Skills and Qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience as a .NET Developer.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of C#, .NET, and object-oriented design principles.<\/li>\n<li>Experience developing and working with RESTful APIs.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with CI\/CD pipelines and testing methodologies.<\/li>\n<li>Strong advocate of TDD with proficiency in frameworks such as xUnit and Moq.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to build relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Proactive and results-oriented with a collaborative mindset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additional Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with distributed micro-service architectures.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and service mesh technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of modern web application authentication and authorisation standards (JWT, OpenID Connect, OAuth).<\/li>\n<li>Experience in mobile development (Flutter, Android, iOS).<\/li>\n<li>Front-end development experience, particularly with Vue.js.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Salt is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/RFNpbmdoLjk1NTc5LjUyMDhAc2FsdC5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are looking for a passionate and skilled .NET Developer to join our dynamic, cross-functional team on a 12-month renewable contract through Salt (Rates: R700 &#8211; R800 p\/h, Remote for a UK Customer).
