The Head of Paid Media will be responsible for leading the strategic development and execution of comprehensive paid media campaigns across various digital platforms. This role involves managing substantial media budgets, optimizing campaign performance to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS), and leveraging data analytics to drive insights and improvements. The individual will oversee a team of paid media specialists, ensuring effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with business objectives.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the Paid Media Team: Oversee and develop the in-house team responsible for paid media strategies and execution.<\/li>\n<li>Budget Management: Handle a multi-million Rand paid media budget, ensuring optimal allocation and ROI across various campaigns.<\/li>\n<li>Campaign Strategy Development: Create comprehensive paid media strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Performance Optimization: Continuously analyze and optimize paid advertising channels to improve performance metrics.<\/li>\n<li>Reporting and Analysis: Generate detailed reports on campaign performance, providing insights to internal and external stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Cross-Channel Coordination: Collaborate with other marketing teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all paid media platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for paid media initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors involved in paid media campaigns.<\/li>\n<li>Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all campaigns adhere to industry standards and best practices in digital marketing.<\/li>\n<li>Training and Development: Mentor team members and provide training on the latest tools, technologies, and strategies in paid media.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant tertiary education<\/li>\n<li>7+ years of experience in managing paid media campaigns across various platforms<\/li>\n<li>E-Commerce OR Digital Agency experience<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record of running high-performance paid media campaigns<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, we will only be able to contact those candidates who have been selected for further consideration.
