While this is a remote position, our client is considering establishing an office in Cape Town in the future, offering potential opportunities for local collaboration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparation of monthly Profit &amp; Loss statements and Management Accounts for multiple clients.<\/li>\n<li>Managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.<\/li>\n<li>Performing Bank Reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Processing Journal entries.<\/li>\n<li>Conducting Variance Analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Developing and maintaining Cashflow forecasts.<\/li>\n<li>Contributing to financial planning and forecasting activities.<\/li>\n<li>Adapting to and utilizing various client accounting systems.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively identifying opportunities to add value to client businesses through financial insights and recommendations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree is essential.<\/li>\n<li>Post-graduate qualification or active pursuit of CIMA is highly advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in a management accounting role.<\/li>\n<li>Xero proficiency is a MUST.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable with occasional phone calls to internal teams.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new accounting software and client-specific systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Personal Attributes<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<\/li>\n<li>Proactive and results-oriented.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Location and Working Hours<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Remote position based in Cape Town, South Africa.<\/li>\n<li>Working hours: 9:00 AM &#8211; 5:30 PM SAST.<\/li>\n<li>Note: Work will be performed to accommodate UK client needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Salary<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>R500,000 &#8211; R600,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Salt is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/ZHZOaWVrZXJrLjcwMDE1LjUyMDhAc2FsdC5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About the Opportunity We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Management Accountant to join a dynamic and growing finance team.
