We are seeking a skilled and versatile Senior Java Developer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This hybrid role is ideal for someone with proven experience in both Microsoft and open-source ecosystems, capable of building and maintaining robust enterprise applications across multiple platforms.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using both .NET (C#)<\/strong> and Java<\/strong> technologies<\/li>\n
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services across Microsoft and Java ecosystems<\/li>\n
  • Analyze and review existing information system architectures to identify opportunities for optimization, enhancement, or improvement.<\/li>\n
  • Design scalable, modular, and adaptable systems aligned with business needs and existing IT architecture and practices.<\/li>\n
  • Draft clear technical specifications and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical solutions and user expectations.<\/li>\n
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system architectures and technical designs.<\/li>\n
  • Develop secure, high-performing applications and integrations, including bug fixes, enhancements, and new system components.<\/li>\n
  • Build reusable, modular solutions that support re-engineering and long-term scalability.<\/li>\n
  • Adhere to structured development practices and ensure all source code is well-documented and maintainable.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure system compliance with applicable standards, legislation, and regulatory frameworks, including POPIA.<\/li>\n
  • Design systems that support business continuity and disaster recovery plans.<\/li>\n
  • Conduct a variety of software testing activities, including unit, regression, negative, integration, and functional testing.<\/li>\n
  • Manage successful deployments, system upgrades, and implementation of changes.<\/li>\n
  • Stay current with technological advancements and apply relevant innovations to improve systems.<\/li>\n
  • Meet service-level agreements (SLAs) related to incident and request resolution.<\/li>\n
  • Provide second-line technical support for business-critical applications and systems.<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate escalation of unresolved issues to internal or external specialists to ensure timely resolution within SLA parameters.<\/li>\n
  • Foster a high standard of customer service by reviewing feedback and continuously improving ICT services to better meet user needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Minimum Qualifications & Experience:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.<\/li>\n
    • 7 experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer.<\/li>\n
    • Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server, and design\/architectural patterns<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of NET languages (e.g., C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5\/CSS3.<\/li>\n
    • Familiarity with architecture styles\/APIs (REST, RPC).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • Understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps practices<\/li>\n
        • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and adapt between multiple development environments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
