This role is ideal for a finance person who enjoys independence, thrives in a team oriented setting and has a strong technical background with a focus on financial processes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting<\/li>\n<li>Compile monthly management accounts with insightful analysis for internal stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Perform and review reconciliations across key financial accounts (e.g., banking, crypto, payroll, revenue, accruals)<\/li>\n<li>Partner with the Financial Controller to develop reporting packs and provide strategic financial insights<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accurate and compliant submission of statutory returns.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee preparation of annual financial statements and coordinate with external auditors<\/li>\n<li>Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to improving financial systems and processes, with a focus on automation and simplification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CA(SA), AGA(SA) or equivalent professional qualification<\/li>\n<li>1-2 years post-articles experience in financial reporting or accounting<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of IFRS and relevant tax legislation<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial software systems (automation exposure advantageous)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-performance remote environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are driven by excellence, excited about innovation in finance and ready to make a meaningful impact within a high growth environment.
