Their retail division consists of five chains that are located throughout South Africa with their footprint stretching as far as Namibia and Botswana and is currently South Africa&#8217;s favourite outdoor adventure store.<\/p>\n<p>Our client is looking for a dedicated and passionate product owner with strong technical acumen to manage the development backlog and project roadmap for their five eCommerce sites. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with Product Manager and other Product Owner to create and maintain a product backlog<\/li>\n<li>You will create, own, and maintain the product roadmap<\/li>\n<li>Identify, analyse &amp; understand the needs and requirements of customers and business stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Oversee development stages (engaging in all ceremonies) This includes running day-to-day ceremonies of a product team including standup, planning, grooming and retrospectives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required skills and qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 + years of experience in project management or product ownership<\/li>\n<li>Relevant experience in website or ecommerce builds and maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of what is technically possible when developing ecommerce builds<\/li>\n<li>Experience in business analysis an added bonus<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of agile methodology<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with API development and other cloud bases services<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable leading UX, design and development processes<\/li>\n<li>Data oriented, using source such as google analytics to make informed decisions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Salt is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/bWFydG1hbi43NDQ4Mi41MjA4QHNhbHQuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Product Owner &#8211; eCommerce Looking for your next challenge?
