THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Office and Financial Administrator, you will report to the General Manager and work closely with stakeholders and community organisations. This position is highly customer service focussed so you will need to have strong communication and enjoy dealing with a variety of people. This role is 30 hours per week (5 days per week), ideally starting between 8.30-8.45am. Your position will be an Office Admin/Accounts mix as follows:

· Financial accounting – bank and general ledger reconciliation, payments, payroll, eftpos and cash management, IRD reporting, year-end accounting and financial reporting

· Office Admin – Reception and customer services duties, processing of venue hire bookings and office admin support

ABOUT YOU

You will have a solid accounting background, top time management skills and attention to detail. You don’t mind interruptions to your day, have a flexible approach and enjoy helping others. We are looking for someone with proven experience with payroll, accounts and admin and ideally Xero knowledge.
