Payroll Manager (Fixed Term)

We are looking for Payroll Manager for a 13 month cover for maternity leave., As a Payroll Manager , you will ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll and continuous improvement initiatives managing projects as assigned to you as and when required.

Key roles and responsibilities:

• Responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing of 1500+ employees fortnightly.
• Manage and lead a team of two payroll officers
• Ensure all payroll functions are completed on time. Deadlines met.
• Verify payroll information for appropriate approvals and accuracy for payment.
• Adhere to audit compliance and legislative compliance.
• Provide customer service support and respond in a timely manner to employee’s enquiries on payroll related issues.
• Organise and maintain all payroll records.
• Assist on special projects and assignments as and when required.

The ideal candidate would:

• Over 7 years of payroll related experience for a large organisation.
• Have a strong working knowledge of Pay-Global technology.
• Ability to exercise independent judgement and knowledge of payroll policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate ability to handle multiple priorities, work independently, accurately and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate ability to handle sensitive personnel issues and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Experience on payroll related projects and initiatives
• Attention to detail superstar!
