Telesales/Outbound Sales Representative

Salt is proud to be partnering with a well-respected organisation in the education sector to recruit a Telesales/Outbound Sales Rep.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Immediate start for a 1-month temporary contract
  • Based in Albany
  • Onsite, Monday to Friday from 9:00 – 5:30pm

You will be generating leads, calling new and existing clients, and qualifying leads to boost sales.

· Proactively identify and research new leads across key industry sectors.

· Leverage our existing prospect database to initiate meaningful contact.

· Conduct timely follow-up on marketing-generated leads.

· Make high-volume outbound calls to build rapport and generate quality leads.

· Accurately maintain records and interactions in our CRM system.

· Schedule call-backs and nurture warm leads through to conversion.

· Support the sales team by booking and qualifying opportunities.

· Consistently exceed targets for course bookings and lead conversions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Identify and research new business leads to expand the client base and uncover new sales opportunities.

· Engage with existing clients by leveraging the current CRM database to build relationships and uncover opportunities.

· Conduct proactive outbound sales calls to generate high-quality leads and nurture early-stage prospects.

· Accurately document all sales interactions and lead information within the CRM system to ensure data integrity and follow-up efficiency.

· Implement and manage call-back schedules to convert cold leads into warm opportunities and drive them through the sales funnel.

· Support the sales team by qualifying leads, scheduling appointments, and coordinating follow-up activities.

· Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets, contributing to team performance and revenue growth.

REQUIREMENTS

· Proven experience in telesales, outbound sales, or lead generation, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to suit diverse client needs and decision-makers.

· Confident, results-driven, and self-motivated, demonstrating a proactive approach to sales and client engagement.

· Highly organised with strong time management abilities, capable of managing multiple leads and follow-ups efficiently.

· Proficient in CRM systems, with hands-on experience in managing leads, tracking interactions, and maintaining accurate customer records.
