Based at their East Tamaki warehouse, working with a lean team, you will own this role, comfortable in this type of environment and a firm but fair communicator.

SNAPSHOT OF TASKS:

• Responsibility for managing (and being part of) the labour team to facilitate day to day warehousing and cross docking operations (whilst meeting safety and compliance standards) in fulfilling customer service demands within SLA agreements
• Proactively manage the day to day LTL service queries, respond and resolve issues in a timely manner across the LTL network, whilst ensuring LTL shipments (originating from any city in NZ) could be picked and delivered (to any city in NZ!) within agreed delivery windows
• Management of the internal database, ensuring data integrity is maintained and updated at all times. Ensure correct documentation is received and dispatched with the drivers
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues/faults where possible in conjunction with Operations Managers, providing operational and administration support across the LTL Network and recommend opportunities for process and system improvements where possible
• Provide timely and high-quality service to customers that meet or exceeds the service promise
• Person MUST be OK working nightshift (2pm – 10pm, Monday to Friday)
