My customer is a New Zealand business with core strengths in providing their customers with a smart home loan and insurance solutions that put them in control of their finances, creating a better future for families and individuals.

Opportunity

3-month contract for a Business Analyst to take part in building an innovative product/app in the open banking space, which may turn in longer-term opportunity later down the track. You will be responsible for breaching a gap between my client and their vendor, who is developing the solution, through cross-team collaboration and delivery to achieve business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

· Exploring the opportunity with my client’s vendor and agreeing on requirements, scope, and product features.

· Participating in establishing a shared vision and a strategy between all parties, providing inputs in business case creation while keeping stakeholders informed.

· Taking part in all stages of solution development from ideation through to conception, design, build and deployment.

· Ensure requirements are complete, accurate and aligned with goals and value proposition.

· Elaborate and specify metrics and acceptance criteria.

· Supporting the delivery.

We Are Looking For

· Business Analysis experience working in the Financial sector in mixed environment Agile and Waterfall.

· Solid Jira/Confluence experience.

· Understanding of software development life cycle.

· Understanding open banking principles is a plus, but not a must.

· Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to work through disagreements, advocate for the customer and build credible relationships.

· Experience on projects related to new products/apps development is preferred.

· Experienced in Problem and Opportunity Analysis using various analysis techniques.
