Senior Business Analyst – Wellington – Contract

Senior Business Analyst – Contracting – 10 months ($130-$140 p/hr)

• Contract role in a stable, secure environment of the large government agency based out of Wellington handling projects which has a deep sense of purpose to transform the society.
• Senior Business Analyst will take a lead role in projects within the Data Management and Information Delivery unit and manage the effective transfer of business requirements into formats where these can be transformed into data assets, dashboards and reporting, using (SAFe) Agile framework.

Requirements Management

· End-to-end analysis of data / metadata & confirming specifications for new, enhanced or changed requirements from the business

• Conduct Impact Assessments on existing data assets including estimates of time, effort and complexity
• Strong in Stakeholder management (SME’s & Data Engineers) across all levels, Improvement, Systems and Technology (IST), Policy and Service Delivery colleagues

· Produce logical/conceptual system designs from requirements specifications

· Maintain up-to-date documentation in the right repositories (i.e. Requirements specifications, Metadata, Data dictionaries, Technical specifications).

· Lead User Acceptance Testing & Negotiate acceptance criteria

· Post-Implementation Support diagnosing faults including source system issues

· Set up successful project definition documentation (costing, project plan, timelines, specifications, and reporting) and see the project through to a successful completion

The ideal candidate:

• Highly experienced in Business Process Business Analysis
• Experience in Safe Agile frameworks
