Outsourcing oversight analyst – Financial Services

The Outsourcing Oversight Analyst will be responsible for supporting the effective delivery of the outsourcing arrangements that exist with third parties. The role will work closely with all senior stakeholders involved in the outsourcing governance process and will include activities ranging from participation in risk assessments, stakeholder management, monitoring of performance against published key performance indicators and arrangement of, and participation in, service delivery reviews.

Responsibilities & Duties

In conjunction with colleagues and senior stakeholders, the Outsourcing Oversight Analyst will review continued appropriateness of key performance indicators and monitor progress against them and undertake and oversee annual risk assessments of the outsourced service providers, ensuring that any ‘high’ or ‘medium’ risks are raised through the appropriate governance processes

Ensuring

• The effective delivery, and monitoring, of our outsourced arrangements
• That regular service dialogue meetings with outsourced service providers are scheduled and managed
• That outsourcing arrangements continue to adhere to contractual agreements
• Identifying and developing contract monitoring processes (i.e. dashboards) to ensure contract and service coverage are maintained and actioned appropriately
• Assisting senior stakeholders in ensuring that cost control, and services received in return, are as per agreements
• Maintaining understanding of outsourcing best practice, identifying and (where agreed) implementing improvements to existing processes
• Acting as escalation point for all outsourcing oversight queries or issues
• Supporting:
• Senior stakeholders in the successful oversight of the outsourced arrangements in any other way, as required
• The business in translation of Outsourcing Costs and Risks
• The business in onboarding new outsourced service providers and ensuring the regulatory requirements are met.

Technical Skills:

Our next Outsourcing Oversight Analyst will have proven experience within Outsourcing processes, understanding contractual documentation, establishing SMART key performance indicators and Third Party Risk Management

We also require the Outsourcing Oversight Analyst to possess the following:

• Understanding of the current regulatory environment in the UK financial services industry
• Strong report writing skills
• Expertise with MS Office desktop applications

Soft Skills:

• Demonstrable experience within the UK financial services industry
• High-level Analytical skills, proven presentation skills, time management expertise, and the ability to manage many tasks concurrently are required
• Possess inspiring communication and presentation skills to present proposals both orally and in writing.
