Information Security Senior Expert – Banking Client – Brussels

Rate: 800 per day

Duration: 1 year freelance contract.

Remote working is allowed for now however you must be prepared to work in Belgium once Covid is over.

The Data Protection Governance team is part of the Cyber Information Security Office Division and is in charge of defining the strategy, analysing requirements and guiding engineering team in implementing, operating and managing Data Protection Software used to detect and protect data from corruption, compromise or loss.

Role:

This is a security Analyst role where you will define the strategy for managing the security of the company data and help engineers and security architects in the design, selection and operation of Data Protection, the products’ lifecycle and configuration. This role includes defining requirements, scoping initiatives, working on the governance aspect of data protection but also reviewing design of new products, reviewing integration of new applications, and reviewing support/maintenance procedures.

In the Data Protection Services Governance Team, you are expected to:

• Participate to the definition of the Data Protection Department Strategy
• Define requirements for the different initiatives of the Data Protection Department
• Define requirements for the product selection to implement the Data Protection Strategy
• Scope together with Program Manager and Project leaders the different initiatives of the department and ensure review and understanding
• Ensure reporting of the evolution of the Data Protection Control and their compliance to regulation
• Participate to Audits by answering compliance objectivesand questions related to data protection
• Help Project Leaders to lead the different initiatives of the department from a content point of view
• Review all the Data Protection Engineering solutions, automate and hand off to operational support
• Participate in the ongoing monitoring of potential data loss
• Assist in the selection, architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance of data protection tools including CASB, data classification and DLP
• Assist with the formulation, configuration, and enforcement of DLP policies, including data use, access control, data encryption and obfuscation policies
• Assist in the improvement ofthe DLP solution by updating the policies, identifying rules which require fine tuning, and remediation to meet internal & external regulatory requirements
• Provide architecture guidance on email infrastructure
• Partner with representatives of IT and other key business teams to advance data protection initiatives
• Develop a high-level of trust with stakeholders to ensure on-going commitment
• Foster a team environment, open to communication and collaboration

Qualifications

Qualifications, Skills and experience:

A combination of several of the below should be covered:

• IT-security professional with solid experience in the infrastructure security domain or in the IT application security domain.
• Knowledge of Symantec DLP and Netskope CASB/DLP

• Solid understanding and experience architecting and implementing email security solutions
• Experience with global deployments of data loss prevention products and/or cloud-based solutions
• Knowledge of the following products is an asset: Office 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Lotus Notes, Axway MailGate, Trend Micro InterScan Messaging Security, Cisco Secure Email (former ESA), Cisco Secure Malware Analytics (former Threat Grid)
• Experience in implementing data loss prevention policies to protect data, data classification documents and encryption of data
• Experience with automation using scripting / programmable knowledge and working knowledge (Shell, PowerShell, Python, SQL, etc.)
• Experience with SQL, data modelling and technical documentation
• Cybersecurity training and certification such as CISSP, CISA, CISM or is mandatory
