IT Production Support Engineer (Freelance Contractor) – Banking client – Brussels

Duration: 6-12 months

Remote Working Available however you will be needed onsite for team meeting.

Your Role:

As a cross-functional production engineer, you will :

– Incident manager for Windows applications

– Carry out first-level diagnosis of production and pre-production incidents, and resolve them where necessary across the entire chain.

– Assist internal users

– Participate in the deployment of pre-production and production releases, and provide post-implementation support

– Perform problem management on recurring and major incidents.

– Participate and co-facilitate crisis conferences during major events.

– Work on improvement tasks (monitoring, problems, processes)

– Participation in hourly rotations 08h 16h – 10h 18h

– On-call duty during non-working hours + weekends (1 / month)

Your profile: IT Production Support Engineer (Freelance Contractor) – Banking client – Brussels

– Minimum 4 years’ higher education in IT or equivalent in IT working experience, ideally with one or more user support experiences in the banking sector

– ITIL, Service Now, SQL, Splunk

– Production support of business applications

– Distributed technologies, Web and Windows applications knowledge

– Incident management and Problem management

– Fluent written and spoken English
