SAS Migration Delivery Lead

SAS Migration Delivery Lead (Mainframe, SAS BASE and SAS Macros (SAS 9.4) – Banking Client – Brussels

• Duration 1 year contract
• Rate: 700 – 750 per day
• Hybrid Working: 1-3 days onsite per month, the rest can be worked remotely

Job Description

Responsibilities:

– Responsible for providing guidance and expertise in the design, development to transition current programs to other capabilities with emphasis on existing products used by the client.

– Liaise and review Partners analysis ( onshore and offshore) that will recommend appropriate solutions for migration.

– Support the current offshore team members on technical issues.

Required Skills:

• 8 to 10 years experience in SAS on Mainframe & Windows but mainly mainframe (SAS BASE and SAS Macros (SAS 9.4))
• Knowledge of ETL technics,
• Strong experience in BI development with practical involvement in implementations.
• Required experience with SAS migration projects
• Well versed with JCL (Job Control Language) Procedures, VSAM/DB2 for Z/OS ,PDS, File Manager etc.
• Sound knowledge of mainframe environment, TSO, JCL, SDSF, CA-7
• Strong Analytical skills.
• Should be able to interact and articulate issues with Developers onshore and offshore.
• Strong experience in SAS on Mainframe & Windows. 4+ years JCL experience with fair understanding of JCL PROCs.
• Additional experience with PL1
• Excellent solution evaluation and design, problem resolution and data analysis skills.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Experience in Financial sector is a plus
