SEO Director – Digital Marketing Agency

Client:

Our client is a US based transformative and innovative digital marketing leader. Their ethos revolves around agility, intelligence, and digital-first thinking. They are now looking for a experienced and ambitious SEO Director to join the team.

Role:

As the SEO Director, your role involves steering, developing, and delivering on the SEO proposition, playing a central role in expanding services across the APAC region. You’ll refine the agency’s SEO product offerings, establish standards, and stay informed about industry trends. Identifying opportunities for quality and efficiency improvements, evaluating project priorities, and actively implementing comprehensive SEO strategies are key aspects of your responsibilities. Additionally, you’ll lead globally while proposing local search visibility strategies, making impactful recommendations, and fostering team growth.

Person:

As an experienced SEO professional, you ideally have over 8 years of expertise in strategy and leadership roles within digital media agencies. You’re passionate about creating an SEO subject matter expert hub in APAC, developing local talent, and have worked across diverse client verticals including retail, beauty, luxury, consumer electronics, and banking & finance. Your proficiency extends to essential SEO tools and analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Ahrefs, and Searchmetrics. Additionally, you understand the interplay between paid media (PPC/Social/Display) and SEO, possess excellent communication skills, and excel at data-driven decision-making. Fluency in English is mandatory and Korean is a plus.
