Business Analyst (1- Year Contract)

Global IT Vendor is seeking an experienced Business Analyst working at the client’s site to deliver a digital transformation project;

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Project Managers to define the approach, deliverables, and estimated effort for business analysis tasks.
• Prepare and document business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional specifications using industry best practices.
• Facilitate communication between creative, business, and technical teams at various levels, including IT solution vendors, IT development team, marketing, and customer service.
• Assist the Project Manager in defining project scope, clarifying requirements, and troubleshooting roadblocks in collaboration with the development team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors, acting as a liaison between stakeholders and development teams.
• Provide client training on specific functions and utilities, including content administration.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of business analysis experience, including planning, monitoring, requirements management, and solution validation.
• Fluent in Cantonese and English.
• Proven experience with e-commerce, web development, and mobile payments, including an understanding of enterprise e-commerce mechanisms like GWP/PWP.
• Experience in a Technology-Enabled Services environment.
• Familiar with business case development, SWOT analysis, BRDs, software requirement specifications
• Strong background in business process re-engineering, and value stream mapping.
• Expertise in agile and scrum methodologies.
• Strong skills in BPMN, Flowchart, DFD, and UML 2.0 (class, use-case, sequence, state, activity diagrams).
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence administration is essential.
