Technology Lead – Online Gaming / Online Trading

Our client is an early stage technology start-up embarking on an ambitious journey in the online gaming and trading space. They have the resources, vision and strategy to build and launch a highly disruptive and cutting-edge product and are looking for a Technology Lead to join us.

Based in Dubai, they are building a team of highly talented, like minded individuals to take the product to market and scale the operation both in terms of size and scope.

They are looking for a Technology Lead to spearhead this side of the business and over time to grow their in-house technology function.

Role Responsibilities

• End-to-end accountability for the technical delivery and operation of the product and services.
• Line management responsibility for several teams spanning Enterprise Architecture, Solutions Architecture, Business Architecture, Design Architecture, Scrum Masters/Project Management, Business Analysis, Design (UX, Creative, UI) and Software Engineering
• Reporting directly to the company founders.
• Ensure that the live services are performing and scaling in accordance with increasing traffic demands.
• Responsibility for making sure that technical incidents are investigated, resolved, and learnt from in order to continuously improve the services and internal working practices.
• Responsibility for forming an in house team for support and management of the product.
• Create processes that are in line with the strategy of the company and product.

Skills Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years experience working in the technology field, having worked in both hands on and leadership capacities.
• A proven track record of leading a multi-disciplinary technology and product teams, both in-house and external.
• Good experience managing relationships with 3rd party suppliers.
• Proven experience in the online gaming and/or online trading industry.
• Experience building highly transactional, highly available, low-latency applications that operate in real-time.
• Experience across a breadth of technology disciplines including Software Engineering and Technology Infrastructure.
