CAD Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and update 2D floor plans for large-scale exhibitions using AutoCAD.
• Interpret and translate stakeholder requests into viable and regulation-compliant layouts.
• Work across multiple venues, understanding specific venue constraints
• Collaborate with internal teams including Operations, Sales, and Marketing to track changes and revisions.
• Assist in standardizing floor plan legends, processes, and change tracking mechanisms.
• Occasionally travel to event sites when necessary to confirm layout feasibility or site accuracy.

Ideal Candidate Background:

Qualifications & Technical Skills:

• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D essential).
• Working knowledge of Illustrator and/or Photoshop is advantageous.
• Prior experience in exhibitions, space planning, interior design, or architectural drafting.
• Able to read and interpret CAD layers and update drawings systematically.

Soft Skills:

• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure with competing deadlines.
• Effective communicator across teams (Operations, Sales, Contractors).
• Capable of tracking requests, prioritising tasks, and managing updates with minimal oversight (once trained).
• Willing to learn and adapt to exhibition industry-specific regulations and workflows.
