Data Modeler

I am working with a leading IT Consultancy in the UAE who are looking for a Data Modeler to join them on an initial 12-month contract:

Data Modelling Tools:

• Proficient with Power Designer and ERwin for creating robust data models.
• Expert in crafting complex SQL queries to handle diverse data requirements.

ODS and Data Marts:

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing Operational Data Stores (ODS) and Data Marts.

Database Experience:

• Skilled in working with databases such as Teradata, SQL Server, Hadoop Hive, and Snowflake.

Data Feeds Analysis:

• Strong ability to analyze and integrate external and internal data feeds.

KPI and Reporting:

• Deep understanding of KPI formulation, reporting requirements, and creating detailed mapping sheets based on data models.

Business Translation:

• Expertise in translating business needs into strategic data models.

Best Practices:

• Create high-quality logical and physical data models using industry best practices to ensure data quality and reduce redundancy.

Optimization and Updates:

• Continuously optimize and update data models to support both new and existing projects.

Metadata Maintenance:

• Maintain detailed conceptual, logical, and physical data models along with corresponding metadata.

Standardization:

• Develop and enforce best practices for standard naming conventions and coding to ensure consistency.

Engineering:

• Perform reverse engineering of physical data models from various databases and SQL scripts.

💰 AED 20,000 – 25,000 per month + visa + healthcare

12-month initial contract

Previous experience in a data modeling position is ESSENTIAL.
