DevSecOps Engineer

We are currently partnered with a globally established video game developer to hire for a DevSecOps Engineer within their newly established cybersecurity team based in their KL Malaysia office.

Duties:

• Perform internal audits on the company’s infrastructure.
• Implement and advance Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Policy as Code methodologies.
• Manage, enhance, and automate Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices.
• Collaborate with product development, IT, and management teams.
• Create and deliver training sessions for developers.
• Engage in security architecture evaluations for new services and aid in containerizing applications.
• Conduct and automate audits for infrastructure perimeter security.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Linux.
• Understanding of common infrastructure attacks and ability to differentiate between threats and risks.
• Knowledge of containerization, particularly Docker, and its usage.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (k8s), including understanding of ingress, pods, and distinctions between endpoints and services.
• Experience with major cloud service providers such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot Nginx, including understanding of proxy_pass and upstream, as well as proficiency in HTTP protocol and TLS/SSL.
• Minimum one year of experience in a similar role.
• Fluent oral communication skills in English.
