Senior DevOps Engineer

We are partnered with a top ranked global enterprise SaaS leader in the market in searching for exceptional DevOps talent from the Technology Industry as part of the company’s continuous technological innovation goals. You will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with infrastructure as code (IaC), software development, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, deploying and operating large scale infrastructure in the multi-cloud in AWS and/or Azure.
• Develop and support CI/CD for a seamless developer experience.
• Investigating, mitigating and resolving incidents such as production outages, performance degradation or data loss.
• Drive the organization on creating the best approach for development, staging and production; and considering the needs for multi-site VPCs.
• Deliver multi-variant set of product vertical requirements for different products and stakeholders.
• Authoring post-mortems, identifying and implementing long-term corrective actions and missing guardrails.
• Supporting our users in their needs of more real-time data, always with a view to self-service and automation where possible.
• Working closely with the Product Manager and Head of Engineering to build infrastructure that supports the product roadmap.

Requirements:

• Infrastructure as code (IaC) expertise, software development skills, and experience working with continuous integration
• Knowledgeable in container orchestration systems (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Experience with version control (e.g. Git) and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
• Knowledgeable in automation, scripting, and developing CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• System administration skills and experience managing Linux servers is a plus
• Experience developing for SaaS applications is a plus
• Experience with cybersecurity is a plus
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
