Web Developer – Frontend Developer

We are seeking for an experienced web developer who focuses on frontend development for a well know prestiges education industry in Malaysia.

In this role, you will see yourself playing a leadership role in developing and deploying feature-rich websites and digital solutions that meet business requirements and end-user needs. You will play a crucial role in identifying and enhancing the digital experience of the organisations various digital platforms.

Areas of Responsibility

• Familiarity with front-end technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap experience is plus, should have the aptitude to learn front-end development
• Improve website user experience and interface via data driven analytic.
• Optimise site structure, content meta tags for SEO.
• Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website and all other digital platforms including social media.
• Development of dashboard reporting system and program to develop integrated reporting tools
• Experience with communicating to different internal servers, databases from AEM, using both front end (ajax, cookies) and back-end technologies (servlet, osgi service, Sling)

Technical Requirement

• 3 – 5 years proven experience in managing websites, online payment gateways or mobile app development
• Java and PHP Programming skillset is a must.
• To assist with the UI design and UX requirements for the website
• Experienced with J2EE and OSGi development
• Strong front end web development skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap
• Firm grasp in CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS
• Experience in build tools such as Webpack and Gulp
• Understand and experience with Web Services: SOAP, JSON, XML, REST
• Experience with API design and implementation
