Accounts Payable – Part time or Full time

My client is a privately owned business based in Mount Wellington. They have been a success story for a number of year and have a highly efficient but friendly back office and Finance team. Due to a recent resignation, they currently have an opportunity for an experienced AP specialist to join the team and work closely with the business.

About the role

This is not a high-volume AP role, and due to the lower volume of invoices, still has a manual element to the position. The Account Payable Specialist works closely with the Finance Manager, AR, Assistant Accountant and Payroll Manager.

As this is a tight knit team, whilst your core duties is the end to end AP, there will also be ad-hoc tasks of an administration nature that the team perform to support the directors and Managers.

Core duties include:

• Accounts Payable
• Mild reception duties (Low volume of traffic)
• Ad hoc requests
• Data entry
• Reconciliations
• PO Matching

About You

Ideally you will have a service minded attitude and enjoy working as part of a close team that is there to support each other on a professional day to day basis.

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Happy to support in reasonable non-AP duties from time to time
• Experience working with financial systems
• Good knowledge around the Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel etc.)
