Payroll Officer

Salt has partnered with a not-for-profit organisation that is looking for a payroll superstar to assist with a 6-week assignment, with potential to extend. This is an ASAP start based at their Auckland central office.

The Role

· You will be responsible for processing weekly payroll

· Dealing with payroll queries and related issues

· Manage and process weekly payroll using MYOB in compliance with company policies and IRD requirements

· Set up new employees in the timesheet system, ensuring alignment with NZ Employment Law and the Holidays Act

· Hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

About Me

· A strong knowledge and understanding of end-to-end payroll functions

· A keen eye for detail, ensuring accurate and timely processing in compliance with payroll legislations

· Working knowledge of and confidence in using MYOB is a strong advantage
