The role

Reporting to a talented CFO and working alongside senior leadership team a key focus of the role is providing support to the Housing division. As Commercial Manager you will assist the CFO to define, and deliver financial strategy, forecasting/planning and financial/commercial support to the business and partner organisations through partnering with the business and providing financial modelling.

You will provide financial leadership to the teams providing commercial insight, effective financial and analytical support, reporting and commercial support to the senior leadership team and wider business.

Your profile

We are seeking a CA qualified Accountant with at least 5 years solid post qualification experience in accounting/commercial support roles. You will need to have

· Experience in data analysis, modelling, and interpretation

· Strong customer focus and experience in business partnering and providing business intelligence

· Ability to understand operations but also have the strategic thinking ability – turn strategy into action

· High level communication skills: ability to interact and communicate with a wide range of people

· Experience working with diverse communities and cultures – specifically Māori and Pasifika

· Knowledge and appreciation of tikanga Māori
