Senior UX Designer

Our client is a manufacturer experiencing a real boom and is looking for a Senior UX Designer to join their dynamic, exponentially growing digital team! This is a great role and has growth opportunity and lots of variety with this well-established NZ business. You could be an upper-level intermediate looking for the next challenge, or a returning NZ citizen looking for a rewarding secure role – or even an Aussie wanting a change of scenery!

The scope of the role is across web app, in-store, products and all digital interfaces including digital touch screens- and the role is approximately 75/25 UX/UI so strong UX background is required. This role reports directly to the head of UX.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• A strong portfolio to demonstrate your ability
• Senior-level ‘Big Picture’ UX strategy and planning
• Able to navigate complex journeys and lead customers through that journey
• Proven record of delivery – wireframes/ prototypes
• Experience with interaction design for web and touch screens (apps, tablets, kiosks)
• Background in an industry such as banking, insurance, health would be ideal
• Able to mentor intermediate designers
• Minimum 5-10 years in a senior-level role with hands-on UX design
