About the Opportunity

Salt has partnered with a global leader in the trucking industry to recruit a high-impact Sales Manager. This role has been created to support the National Sales Manager by taking ownership of the day-to-day leadership of the sales team, enabling greater focus on strategic growth initiatives.

You’ll be stepping into a leadership role where you’ll guide a high-performing sales team, build deep customer relationships, and help shape the future of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Key Account Managers and sales professionals
• Drive performance through KPIs, coaching, and strategic planning
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry bodies, and internal stakeholders
• Oversee operational logistics and ensure smooth delivery processes
• Provide market feedback and insights to leadership
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes
• Collaborate with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the trucking or commercial vehicle industry
• Proven experience leading a sales team and driving performance
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering growth
• Exceptional relationship management skills across internal and external stakeholders
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, reporting, forecasting)
• A self-starter mindset with a solution-focused approach
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, manual systems environment
