As the Senior Business Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and building strategic partnerships within the packaging industry. Leveraging your deep understanding of the manufacturing industry and strong commercial acumen, you’ll identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and develop innovative strategies to expand their market presence.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Hunt for new opportunities while leveraging from exsiting client relationships.
  • Identify and prioritize target markets, industries, and clients within the packaging industry.
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, decision-makers, and industry influencers.
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure new partnerships and business opportunities.
  • Have your finger on the pulse with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform business strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and operations teams to drive cohesive growth initiatives.

What You Will Bring

  • A proven track record of success in senior business development roles.
  • Have a strong understanding or experience of manufacturing processes.
  • Be a natural sales hunter, with experience of selling.
  • Have exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Be a strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and strong commercial acumen.
  • Have experience presenting and tendering to senior leaderships teams.
