IT Senior Project Manager

IT Senior Project Manager working across CMS (Contract Management System) Project for a Health Organisation performing on a transformation initiative.

• Are you an experienced IT Senior Project Manager looking for an exciting contract opportunity working for an organisation that looks after New Zealander’s Health? We want to hear from you!!
• We are looking for an IT Senior Project Manager who will be working within the Procurement & Supply Chain areas and working close with stakeholders in these areas.
• Your focus will be on strategic planning, scoping, defining requirements, and providing recommendations to the team.

Location: Auckland – CBD

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and implementing the CMS Project which will be delivered among Procurement & Supply Chain processes.
• Defining the scope and requirements for a National Contract Management System (CMS).
• Planning and executing the project considering and improving existing systems and processes across Procurement & Supply Chain areas, ensuring their integration, and assessing the impact of changes.
• Contribute to project roadmap scoping, aligning objectives with organisational goals and project activities, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and deliverables.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project goals, define requirements, and create a comprehensive project plan to work on
• Provide expert recommendations to the team based on industry best practices.
• Monitoring the project progress, identifying risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.

What do you need to apply?

• Proven experience as an IT Senior Project Manager for more than 5 years. Experience working on CMS projects and strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. Would be an advantage if you have prior experience within the health sector or a related industry and hold a Program/Project Management methodology such as P3M, MSP, or equivalent.
• Expertise in scoping projects, defining requirements, and making strategic recommendations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
