Test Analyst

• THE ROLE:

• Reporting to the Chapter Lead, The Test Analyst role will be a “hands-on” position responsible to work across multiple projects and BAU activities within a Delivery squad of currently 6 members encompassing functional, system, integration, regression and other testing using their manual test and automation applications. Support the relationships with key stakeholders like product owners, application specialist, delivery leads, developers, SME’s and team members whether they are Mercury employees, contractors or third-party vendors delivering specific testing deliverables.

• 3days work from office is the norm ; hence, should be based out of Hamilton unless someone is okay to travel. Negotiable for some having a compelling reason.

• THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Experience as a functional tester with automation experience even if it is less.
• Good oral and written communication & coordination skillsets. (IMPORTANT)
• To be a team player and can work with various stakeholders and not just work in their Sylo but look at the entire testing lifecycle, understand the bigger picture and have the attitude to help whenever required. (IMPORTANT). Experience with Agile.
• Experience with automation using C#, Selenium OR Ranorex (preferred but not mandatory as training on tooling to happen).
• Any knowledge of IBM Maxima, Nisoft Eclipse, ArcGIS (not mandatory, good to have)
