Senior UX Researcher – Contract

Iconic Australian brand with established Experience Design team. Flexible working arrangements with remote options.

Team are Melbourne-based but open to interstate candidates (preference for interstate candidates to travel to Melbourne for onboarding and to meet the team.)

About the Role

Research-focused 6 month contract opportunity. You’ll lead two challenging research pieces, in a complex environment.

A senior level role, you’ll be self-motivated and able to work strategically. You’ll have autonomy over the process, and encouraged to bring your ideas to the role.

You’ll be comfortable synthesising findings and making recommendations, proposing solutions and testing them with users.

Key stakeholders include Product Lead, UX Lead, Data Lead & Content Lead. You’ll have the support of the PO, UX/UI Designers and Analytics team.

Deliverables include:

• Competitor and market analysis/benchmark
• Qualitative and quantitative research through interviews and surveys
• Propose solutions and test them with users
• Recommendations and Research report

Your Skills & Experience

• Senior level UX Research experience
• Ability to lead a project and be self-motivated
• Comfortable with complex user cases, and environment
• Experience collaborating with wider team
• Proven experience in research, design and strategy, including wireframing / prototyping solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• An ability to identify actionable insights through research
