Senior Aladdin Investment Technology Consultant

Salt has partnered with a Private Fund Manager who is looking for a career-driven Investment Technology Consultant with hands-on experience using BlackRock Aladdin investment platform and understanding of capital markets.

As an Investment Technology Consultant you will be working closely with both the Investment Teams and the broader Investment Technology group to drive platform-centric transformation. You will be ensuring that Aladdin platform enhancements and integrations are fit-for-purpose, scalable, and aligned with the company roadmap.

Responsibilities:
* Act as the first point of contact for Aladdin related queries and issues, and deliver daily operational and SME support for users of Aladdin;
* Collaborate with Technology, Investment Teams, and Investment Data specialists to workshop and document requirements;
* Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements in partnership with technology experts;
* Support the Investment Technology team in overseeing the end-to-end delivery of platform integration and enhancement initiatives;
* Act as a subject matter expert on the current state of investment platforms, providing guidance to stakeholders on system capabilities, business rules, data repositories, and integration points to ensure platform alignment with business needs.

Requirements:
* Have a solid understanding of financial services organisations with an Investment fundamentals qualification;
* A Business Analysis certification is desirable e.g. CBAP;
* Experience providing hands-on support and troubleshooting for Aladdin users in a live investment environment;
* Proven track record delivering technology solutions to investment management teams, with deep understanding of core investment concepts and how they are operationalized through platforms like BlackRock Aladdin;
* Strong project coordination and stakeholder engagement skills;
* Hands-on exposure to modern data and integration technologies including APIs, ETL pipelines, SQL, AWS, and Databricks, supporting seamless data flow into and out of Aladdin.
