Tech Lead – Melbourne

The Company

Salt is excited to have partnered with a leading e-Commerce organisation based in Melbourne who is currently seeking a Tech Lead to join one of their innovative Software Engineering teams on a permanent basis.

Please note, this is a hybrid role based in Melbourne (3 days onsite) and all applicants must have full working rights in Australia to apply for this position.

The Role

As a Tech Lead Engineer, you will be joining a newly formed Engineering team, where you’ll be responsible for leading the development various cutting-edge internal tools and applications, as well as overseeing a small team of Engineers.

Key Skills and Competencies

The successful Tech Lead should have the following skill set:

• In depth experience working with Python or TypeScript
• Strong knowledge in AWS and Automation, including various tools
• Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines
• An expert in GitHub
• Passionate about AI
• Experienced working in an Agile environment
• Full working rights in Australia
