Support the Business Development function in achieving key targets within the DACH region by strengthening client relationships, qualifying and pursuing new opportunities, and building the brand in line with our values and mission.
Work closely with a collaborative team, helping drive market activity while supporting internal business development processes.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Qualify all leads by converting to contacts, tiering, and assigning.
Set up appointments for Business Development Executives.
Follow up on post-event delegate feedback.
Support demand generation activities for Tier 2-4 accounts.
Build new target prospect lists using relevant tools and systems.
Create and distribute progress and performance reports.
Promote events via social media channels such as LinkedIn.
Conduct invite calls to Tier 2-4 VIPs for specific events.
Facilitate tactical promotional communications where appropriate.
Data Cleansing Activity
Maintain, review, and regularly cleanse Salesforce data.
Ensure consistency between Salesforce, Dunn & Bradstreet, and LinkedIn contacts.
Manage parent/sister company data updates.
Collaborate with Data Analysts to profile target accounts.
Other Responsibilities
Achieve agreed individual and team KPIs.
Drive webinar attendance and meetings at trade events.
Support the tender process for customer procurement opportunities.
Assist with invoicing and aged debt management for Tier 2-4 accounts.
Provide excellent customer service for Tier 2-4 accounts.
Help build and maintain the brand within the wider cybersecurity community.
Support ad-hoc business development and sales administrative tasks.
Carry out additional tasks as requested by the management team.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
Essential
Minimum 1 year in a Sales or Marketing related role.
Educated to a good standard (Minimum VWO Grade 7 overall).
Fluent in English and German.
Sales-focused with a creative approach.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver against KPIs.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and IT skills.
Confident in using LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Initiative-driven, creative, and committed to delivering high service standards.
Confident telephone manner.
Ability to work both independently and within a team.
Willingness and ability to travel to events across Europe.
Desirable
Experience in closing qualified leads.
Knowledge of the Cyber Security sector.
Fluency in an additional modern European language.
Experience using Salesforce and Tableau.
