Salt are recruiting a Software Engineering Manager for a Natwest/RBS backed digital FinTech business, who’ve grown by 500% in the last 12 months alone and processed £2BN transactions in that time.

Their success is down to their unique proposition, being able to sit at the intersection of retail and business banking, combining the innovation of a FinTech with the backing & expertise of an established bank!

Their headcount has more than doubled in the last year as they progress from startup to scaleup – they have circa 300 employees now with nearly 100 of those being in the software engineering division. They are looking to grow to 600 over the coming 14 months, so plenty of opportunity for you to make a serious impact!

This Software Engineering Manager will see you leading a team of 10 as a part people leader, part technical problem-solver – so they are looking for strong line management skills as well as excellent technical understanding of one or more of the key components in their tech stack: (Java, React Native / iOS, Android / Javascript / Kafka / Kubernetes / Docker / AWS)

They are based in London but have a distributed team across the UK – who all meet up twice a month in London.
