Salt are recruiting for multiple Senior Java Engineers for a London based FinTech who are one of the fastest growing companies in Europe – this is a business that’s grown from 2>3,000+ in the last 10 years alone, with 13 million customers across the globe. This companies mission is to move money around the globe instantly, conveniently and eventually for free – this is going to be the best money transfer experience in the world.
They operate in the Spotify Engineering model of Squads & Tribes, and have nearly 200 in this department just in the UK alone – so there is excellent career progression routes here for Senior Java Engineers.
On a day to day basis, you’ll be building a global platform to be scalable, reliable and secure – working on lots of algorithmical challenges. If you have a product mindset and enjoy prioritising work with the customer in mind, you’ll enjoy your time here.
They are looking for experience with modern Java (8+), Spring Boot as well as microservices, messaging systems like Kafka and relational databases.
The salary for these Senior Java Engineer roles will range from £90,000 to £110,000 depending on the level of experience you have in these areas, as well as RSU’s worth £30,000-£60,000.
They also offer a wide range of benefits including 5% pension, 26 weeks maternity leave, 33 days holiday, work from anywhere in the world for 90 days, private medical insurance, and can even sponsor VISAs!
They are based in London, but are a remote friendly business – ideally they’d like to see you 2-4 times per month in the office, but they can be flexible for the right person.
