Position: Technical Project Manager (Contract)

Location: Toronto – Hybrid

Duration: 4 Months (to start)

About the Role

Our client-a prominent media and analytics organization-is seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee a 4-month project. You’ll manage the end-to-end delivery of technical initiatives, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and timely delivery. Collaborative, organized, and proactive, you’ll be the point person with both internal teams and external vendors while managing risks and reporting on progress.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and manage all phases of project delivery, including scope, schedule, and resource alignment.
* Coordinate multi-team execution efforts-from engineers to vendors.
* Track progress, mitigate risks, and manage change requests effectively.
* Maintain comprehensive project documentation and reporting.
* Communicate clearly with all stakeholders on project status and dependencies.
* Execute a post-project review to evaluate success metrics and deliver insights for future improvements.

Skills & Qualifications

* 3-6 years’ experience in technical project management, preferably in media or tech-driven environments.
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; project management certification is an asset.
* Familiarity with Agile and/or traditional project frameworks.
* Experience using tools like JIRA, Trello, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to navigate fast-paced, technical settings.
