Freelance Copywriter – 4 month contract

Our client, a creative and design agency, is looking for copywriters to join them for a 4 month contract!

This individual will be responsible for content development, editing, organizing/managing content, and assisting with conceptual development for websites, microsites, and other digital products for their clients.

Duties Include:

● Copywriting: creating impactful and emotionally engaging text;

● UX writing: crafting text that’s clear, concise, and leads to action;

● Working with client content to adapt it to the needs of a project;

● Creating copydecks to facilitate content management and the involvement of other experts

(UX, UI, development);

● Creating optimized content for landing pages, target audiences, etc. (SEO, accessibility, A/B

testing);

● Working closely with Content Leads and UX/UI experts to establish original concepts, visual

treatments, and voice for copywriting efforts, as well as supporting content zoning.

Essential Requirements:

● Minimum 3-5 years related experience in copywriting for web, mobile, and other digital

formats

● Familiar with Miro and Figma (an asset)

● A working knowledge of user experience and storytelling

● Familiar with SEO and web accessibility best practices (WCAG 2.0 AA) and proficiency with writing
