Sales Engineer (Heavy Equipment/Commercial Parts)
Mississauga, Ontario (Hybrid) | $90k-$110k base + commission, with uncapped OTE
We’re partnering with a Canadian leader in thermal design and heat transfer solutions. Their products serve construction, agriculture, mining, transportation, and mass-transit sectors. This is a chance to join a tight-knit, high-performing team making a real impact in a growing industry.
They are seeking a Sales Engineer to drive new business and expand partnerships with commercial parts manufacturers and heavy equipment clients, working closely with executive leadership to shape strategic growth initiatives.
Must Have:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Materials, or related).
* Experience with a commercial parts manufacturer in the heavy equipment industry.
* SolidWorks experience required.
* 5+ years of technical sales experience with industrial or heavy equipment clients.
* Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with commercial parts manufacturers and heavy equipment clients.
* Conducting client meetings and technical sales presentations (in-person and remote).
* Understanding client requirements and developing tailored solutions.
* Managing complex, long-cycle sales engagements.
* Acting as a technical advisor during pre- and post-sales processes.
* Representing the company at trade shows and industry events.
* Meeting and exceeding business development targets.
Bonus: P.Eng. designation, previous exposure to heavy equipment OEMs, or experience with small-to-mid-sized commercial parts manufacturers & Experience with turbo, intercooler, or thermal management products is highly desirable.
