About the Role

We’re hiring a Data Engineer for a contract position within a client-facing data operations team. The role involves developing and managing data pipelines, ensuring high data quality, and supporting analytics and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in SQL, data visualization, and cloud-based data environments, as well as the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

* Build, manage, and optimize data pipelines for marketing and media datasets.
* Implement and follow data governance standards, naming conventions, and documentation practices.
* Collaborate with analytics, ad operations, and media teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
* Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues.
* Create and maintain dashboards using visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio).
* Work with cloud-based platforms such as AWS and GCP for data storage and querying.
* Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for data processes and workflows.

Skills & Qualifications

* 3-5 years’ experience in data engineering, data operations, or related roles.
* Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with large dataset management.
* Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
* Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS S3/Redshift, GCP BigQuery).
* Experience with ETL tools and processes.
* Understanding of data governance and metadata management.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
